Refund Policy

30-day money-back guarantee. No questions asked.

1. The 30-Day Guarantee

You are eligible for a full refund if you request it within 30 days of a charge. No questions asked. For one-time purchases that means within 30 days of your purchase date; for subscriptions, each monthly charge has its own 30-day window — so your most recent month is always refundable.

2. How to Request a Refund (Self-Serve)

We don't make you jump through hoops or wait for an email reply to get your money back.

  1. Log in to your account at aurascriptworks.com.
  2. Navigate to the Support tab in your dashboard.
  3. Locate the active purchase you wish to return and click Request Refund.

Note: Your Support dashboard is also where you can easily export your personal data or use the "Forget Me" tool to completely delete your account.

3. Processing Time & Fraud Prevention

Refunds are initiated instantly on our end the moment you request one via your dashboard. Depending on your bank, it typically takes 2–5 business days for the funds to appear back on your original payment method.

Please note: Our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, physically processes the movement of funds and retains the right to delay, review, or deny payouts in accordance with their strict anti-fraud and risk assessment policies.

4. What Happens After a Refund?

  • Your license for that specific product will immediately revert to the free/trial tier.
  • If the refunded charge was a subscription payment, your subscription is also cancelled immediately — Pro access ends right away and no further charges occur.
  • Our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, will automatically send you an official email confirming the refund for your financial records. (We do not send additional automated emails.)
  • You are always welcome to repurchase or resubscribe in the future if your needs change.

5. Free Trials vs. Purchases

All our extensions include a 14-day free trial so you can thoroughly test the features before buying. Your 30-day refund window begins on the actual purchase date, not the day you started the free trial.

6. Subscriptions

Most of our products are one-time payments with lifetime access. Aura Story Builder additionally offers an optional monthly Pro subscription. Here is exactly how it works:

  • Billing: You are charged when you subscribe and then automatically each month on that same day, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling: Cancel anytime, self-serve, from the Support dashboard (Billing & Refunds tab). Cancelling stops all future charges. Your Pro access continues through the billing period you already paid for, then your account moves to the free tier. No partial refunds are issued for cancelling mid-period.
  • Refunding a subscription charge: Any charge from the last 30 days can be refunded from the same dashboard. A refund returns that payment and cancels your subscription immediately — Pro access ends right away rather than at the end of the period.
